KILN FIRED PORCELAIN PHOTO TILES:
Porcelain/Ceramic Photo tiles are reproduced from your submitted photos. Once this
process
is
completed the tiles are then fired in a kiln at high temperatures
for permanence and protection against fading from ultra-violet light and
outdoor conditions.
They
are guaranteed for outdoor use.
IMPORTANT
NOTE:
Photo Tiles that you may find elsewhere on the Web that may be labeled
as "ceramic", may be produced
through a process called"sublimation" and are not fired in a kiln.
These kinds of tiles cannot be guaranteed for use outdoors for more than 2 or
3 years.
Always ask the company which process they use.
Porcelain Photo tiles in color/black and white, or sepia tone, that are
fired in a kiln,
are guaranteed for outdoor use.
